Alice began her career in Zookeeping in 2014 at London Zoo ZSL where she worked on 3 different animal departments. When she came back to England, she returned to Zookeeping, and took on the role of a Carnivore Keeper at Shepreth Wildlife Park, where she remained for nearly 5 years.

During this time, she established the Keeper Educational Exchange Programme - https://www.keeperexchange.org/get-involved (or KEEP), a not-for-profit organisation that enables Zookeepers from across the UK and zookeeper - https://ratemywifey.com/author/helenamacke/ beyond to learn from each other through visiting other collections - https://www.keeperexchange.org/get-involved. She has presented on the programme at the ABWAK Symposium - https://www.facebook.com/ZooKEEPX/ and the BIAZA Annual Conference - https://www.keeperexchange.org/jobs-listing and the organisation is proud to be BIAZA Endorsed and supported by Birdworld, in Surrey.
